"Drupal changed my life”. Each of us can say that for sure, so we put this phrase on our T-shirts. Drupal gave us the means to create amazing things and to know that the sky’s the limit. Drupal gave us a chance to belong to the most creative, cheerful and enthusiastic community. So it’s no wonder InternetDevels website development services company became a silver sponsor and attendee of one of the biggest Drupal events — DrupalCamp Kyiv 2017. Full of impressions after the Camp, we are ready to share them with you!
DrupalCamp Kyiv 2017 and a sweet busy morning
Amidst all the hustle and bustle of Bratislava Hotel, we, as sponsors, had a busier morning than the other guests. Thankfully, the organizers offered some energy in the form of sweets and coffee.
Our magic Drupal wall at DrupalCamp Kyiv, 2017
So we started preparing our magic Drupal wall. We installed it, so everyone could leave their contacts using stickers and multi-colored play-dough. It sticks well, so we can stay in touch for a long time!
The wall was installed. Well, it looked like everything was ready... but still something was missing — our smiling faces. The wall looked perfect now!
And it was ready for interested guests.
With whom to go to DrupalCamp Kyiv 2017? Only best friends!
We were visiting the Camp with our affiliated company and our best friends, Drudesk website support service. See how good our logos look together.
DrupalCamp Kyiv 2017 and its speakers
The speakers at the Camp were impressive — they all had their own audience who had been looking forward to listening to them. In addition to the famous names, the choice of speeches in the 4-5 streams was absolutely fabulous.
A great step forward was the increased number of English-language speeches delivered both by foreign guests and even by Ukrainian web developers. It was awesome to hear plenty of questions to foreign guests by the Ukrainian drupalers in English, with InternetDevels and Drudesk guys being among those who asked.
Meeting great people at DrupalCamp Kyiv, 2017
And, of course, delving into the communication with old and new buddies is something we all expect from such events. It started at coffee breaks and continued into the after-party. The awesomeness of people goes off the scale!
Happy to receive thanks
One of the sponsor’s responsibilities is to deliver a little speech and receive a thank-you diploma. Dasha managed it very well. At the end, she turned her back on the audience… but just to sum up it all with the “Drupal changed my life” phrase. The organizers joked that hopefully the change was for the better. No, it was not for the better. It was for the most awesome and fantastic!
Other memorable moments of the meetup were a prize drawing from the organizers and sponsors, the next day’s code sprint with wise ideas and tasty pizza, and, of course, the excellent level of organization of DrupalCamp Kyiv 2017.
Many thanks to the organizers and the participants! Let Drupal continue working its magic in our lives. Hope to see you all again in the near future!
