In our previous blog post, our Drupal web development company has presented a list of 7 popular and useful Drupal modules for integration with social networks. After that we've received some queries like "Are there some other modules of such kind?". Thus, we've decided to make up a new list!
1. “Twitter block” module
“Twitter block” module adds to the site a block displaying the tweets of certain users, tweets with some #tag or search request.
The module enables displaying tweets by pre-defined filters; theming the results with theme_twitter_block_tweet() and theme_twitter_block() functions. The module doesn’t include extensions, that’s why tweets with Drupal can not be added.
Set it up:

2. “Social Stats” module
It is a statistics module, storing the data from different social media websites. It is done using “nodes”.
The module is capable of storing data from:
- Facebook: the amount of likes, shares, comments and summed up activity;
- Twitter: the amount of tweets;
- LinkedIn: the amount of shares;
- Google Plus: the amount of “+1”s, shares and summed up activity;
- Total Share Count: summed up activity from all social networking websites.
Set it up:
Drupal versions support: 6.x, 7.x, 8.x.
To get the best results, use it with modules Service Links and AddThis.

3. “AddThis” module
The module Add This Button allows adding addthis.com service’s button to the website. This will give users a possibility to bookmark the website’s pages conveniently and share the information from your website in the supported social networks.
The module enables users to:
- add share buttons to popular social networks;
- a wide range of social networks available;
- flexible configuration options;
- creating a “type” to attach to “content”;
- enables registration.

4. “Yandex.Share” module
This module integrates Yandex API (in fact, Share block) to your website. This block helps your visitors to publish the information about the pages they like in social networks or in blogs.
The module supports the following features:
- New element “Yandex-widget” for using in any form;
- “Yandex.share” for nodes and taxonomy terms;
- “Yandex.share” block to be displayed at any page of your website;
- Share the statistics option (available with Yandex.Metrics module).

5. “LiveJournal CrossPoster” module
LiveJournal CrossPoster module allows the users crossposting their messages to their blogs or LiveJournal communities. It is based on Evan Broder’s work. He has also created a similar WordPress plugin.

6. “Share this” module
The module implements integration with a social service for bookmarking specific node types. ShareThis does not require any additional modules.
It has few alternatives:
- Service Links;
- AddThis;
- Share Count.
ShareThis module gives you the following opportunities:
- to customize your ShareThis code using STAPI;
- to choose the type of nodes to display ShareThis;
- to show or hide the teaser;
- to place ShareThis block anywhere on your website;
- to integrate it with Views.

7. “VK CrossPoster” module
This module allows automatically sending the materials to VK, in other words, enables the cross posting.
